Project Description
This project addresses the need for phosphoproteomic tools in personalized medicine using kinase inhibitors. We will target an oncogenic pathway having eight abberantly phosphorylated sites informative of a patient´s susceptibility to treatment. MIPs recognizing these sites will be developed in the form of porous beads or nanoparticles and characterised with respect binding affinity at both peptide and protein level and compared with traditional antibody based detection. Ultimately a MIP-MS multiplex assay will be developed and assessed on clinical samples jointly with other partners.
